The TEAM ESC project “Make it Blue”<\/strong> is back this summer!<\/p>\n

There will be three flows:<\/p>\n

I flow 14th June – 29th July (ongoing)<\/p>\n

II flow 30th July – 21 August <\/strong>(read below for more information)<\/p>\n

III flow 23 August – 23 September<\/strong> (read below for more information)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

About the first flow<\/h6>\n

From 14th June to 29th July<\/strong> participants from Serbia, Sweden, Norway, Czech Republic, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Spain, France, Germany will stay in Maiori, Amalfi Coast to:<\/p>\n

-Learn about sea pollution<\/strong> and environmental protection through hands-on beach clean-up<\/strong> activities;
\n-Learn about local cultural heritage<\/strong> and support the local community to spread the knowledge to visitors and young people;
\n-Enhance teamwork, leadership<\/strong>, and communication skills by collaborating on local activities;
\n-Experience community<\/strong> living and sharing by following sustainable practices<\/strong> (reduction of waste, responsible consumption, recycling);
\n-Experience cultural exchange<\/strong> and broaden perspectives by working with volunteers from different backgrounds.<\/p>\n

In particular participants will contribute to the:
\n– promotion of cultural heritage in the local museum<\/strong> of Maiori with its beautiful frescos and the city garden;
\n– renovation<\/strong> of an abandoned community space in an old building;
\n– beach cleaning to raise awareness<\/strong> on the sea pollution;
\n– monitoring and activities on sea turtles
\n– environmental<\/strong> education and awareness raising activities;
\n– promoting solidarity<\/strong> and intercultural exchange;
\n– lead of a cultural city tour;
\n– other community activities to support the Municipality<\/strong> of Maiori.<\/p>\n
