Se hai bisogno di una pausa c’è un’opportunità perfetta per questo al rifugio . Il team di progetto composto da volontari, dipendenti e stagisti di ACARBIO ha anche eseguito alcuni lavori di ristrutturazione di un vecchio rifugio nel bosco. Leggi di più sulla ristrutturazione qui .
Puoi usare il camino qui e sentirti come a casa in questa splendida posizione.
E solo perché tu lo sappia: se sei arrivato qui, hai già completato metà del percorso, la cima non è più lontana!
Non molto tempo dopo che la foresta intorno è cambiata da prevalentemente castagna a bosco di betulle, raggiungerete un altro punto molto interessante della vostra escursione: la neviera . L’origine di questo nome è legata al suo antico uso. A causa del fatto che qui la neve dell’inverno non si scioglieva così velocemente come nella zona circostante, la gente veniva qui per raccogliere il ghiaccio e la neve. Era possibile ancora in primavera o addirittura in estate!
E ora ce l’hai quasi fatta! Solo 10 minuti di camminata in più e arriverai in cima! Buon lavoro! Ci auguriamo che l’escursione e la flora e la fauna uniche della regione dei Monti Lattari ti siano piaciute (clicca, scopri di più su animali , piante e muschi ).

If you need a break there is a perfect oppurtunity for that at the shelter. The project team consisting of volunteers, employees and interns of ACARBIO also did some renovation work on an old shelter in the woods. Read more about the renovation here.
You can use the fireplace here and just feel like home at this beautiful location.
And just so you know: If you made it here, you already completed half of the way, the top is not far anymore!
Not long after the forest around changed from mostly castagna to birch forest you will reach an other very interesting point on your hike: the neviera. The origin of this name is linked to its former use. Due to the fact, that here the snow of the winter did not melt as fast as in the surrounding area, the people came here to collect the ice and snow. It was possible still in spring or even summer!
